When I first met Brenda, I walked into her store by chance off the street for my first ever psychic reading. I was immediately welcomed into a positive environment with open arms. I wanted to thank you for an insiteful reading February. I was surprised and happy to learn from you that there was someone near me. You talked of a cubby/closet in my bedroom that pops open for no apparent reason and where the rug is that keeps getting messed up in my house. You drew layout of my house to show me what closet and which rug. Although it was not who I was thinking it might be, you noted that I did not acknowledged this person much and it helped me to identify who it might be and also leads me to think he has an accomplice. I am sure it is my Dad. He was a jokster, along with my late husband, both very quiet guys, who I am sure are opening the closet and moving the rug, just to let me know they are there. Also, the lady you mentioned is definately my Mom, she truly did love her lipstick, and was quite a talker. It is nice to confirm feelings that I have had about someone being near, but wasn't sure it was possible and always tried to debunk the perfume scent, the rug being messed up or me possibly having left the closet door open. People who know me, know I am kind of anal retentive about that stuff, and will straighthen the rug, or close a door if it is open and needs closed. It is amazing to me that you were able to tell me these things since you did not know me before this reading and had no background about me my house, my family, nothing. Brenda hit so many things accurately, it's hard to narrow it down! She correctly described my husband: plays bass, protective of our family. She described our new house, including paint, furniture color and placement. This included a warning about our deck, which we had just decided the night before to remove. She told me she saw me planting trees, which was already planned for the spring. When we were going to finish our basement, even describing the existing plumbing. She even told me when I was going to get a new car, August. Ironically, I planned this for September. I have had several readings with Brenda in the past few months. I met with you last week and just wanted to take a minute and say thanks. As a refresher for you – I’m sure you see lots of us – my mom came thru, expressed regret about some things that happened after she died, you picked my dad’s name out of thin air, brought through my dead suicidal brother and told me my guide’s name is Isabelle. As I think I told you, my mom has been gone since 1973, so I was puzzled and a little distraught that she would feel the need to express regret and send apologizes after all these years. After all, I’m not mad and long ago released the need to blame and waste energy on hurt and regret – especially when whatever action caused the hurt and regret also caused a lesson.
But I’ve realized now that my mom – talking through you that day – wasn’t talking to me (Karen the 54 year old) she was talking to the 15 year old in me who was still mad and hurt. As soon as you said, “your mom is here” 15-year-old Karen sat up, started waving her hand and bawling like a baby. Just like those suicides in my dream, apparently she needed to be acknowledged.
Here’s the “aha” moment you told me was coming. I came to you because I felt stuck, not sure how to move forward, blah blah blah. I just wanted to put in writing my thanks for your recent insights, as I am pretty sure you saved my home and even possibly someone from getting hurt!
As you may recall from my reading in August, you said that you saw fire outside my home. You couldn't really get more details, but said to be cautious about fire outside, and you emphasized that the fire would be outside, not inside. I knew that we were having a big bonfire at our home the first weekend in October (an annual event) so I pretty much chalked your vision up to that.
However, because I've come to trust that your insights are a litttle too often true, when the day of the bonfire came, I was very careful about the fire and kept a good watch on it all evening. Around 10pm, I was pretty sure I was in the clear. At about this time, another mother came to me and said that she caught 2 teens smoking in the yard on the side of my home. They tried to act like they were not doing anything, but this mom knew better. She was just letting me know so that I would be aware, but something told me I should go over to where the incident happened and take a look. Sure enough, the boys had put their smoldering cigarettes in a plastic cup, shoved some napkins down in it, and threw it in a pile of items we had on the side of the house that was to go to charity. These items included a mattress, some wood furniture, and some bagged clothing--all very flammable! I have no doubt that if I was not especially worried about fire that day, I would have never chosen to walk over to where the boys had been, and the cigarettes would have had a chance to catch the napkin on fire, and thereby starting a blaze at my home.
